So I'm in agreement (and happy to say) that it's not a Mixcraft issue. Same thing (although I could not get any audio for some reason I could clearly see the gaps in the recorded MIDI file). Well for what it's worth: I downloaded Ableton Live 9 Lite and tested.

Very much appreciated.īy the way Mark: what software did you use to create that video? Could come in really handy this side. Strike 2 Test.mid (1.43 KiB) Downloaded 115 times

if you drag the recorded MIDI file straight to the desktop and then play it back in, say, Windows Media Player, then same thing. I just realised that it CANNOT be Mixcraft (or could it?) i.e. it seems as though the very very last two or three notes / beats are recorded and the verse begins. See if you can see anything in the file.īy the way and what's interesting: if you record as audio (as opposed to MIDI) in Strike 2 then around 99% of the intro. To which "scissors" do you refer by the way? I've tried using "split" and delete but I don't seem to get it right and I've not figured a way to "mark" from bar to bar and then simply delete the "marked" bars?Īnyways. It's just that when the recorded MIDI file is dragged into Mixcraft this blank space appears (between the intro. key and it starts recording immediately and goes from the intro.

It's a FULL Strike 2 MIDI file (as opposed to General MIDI) but this doesn't appear to make a difference (have tried both). Thanks for your response and my sincere apologies for my belated response to you (been moving house) (an utter nightmare) (but sorted now) (well almost). I find Strike 2 real easy to create loops / beats (and then use SampleTank, BFD, or Addictive Drums on the MIDI track for the real sound). Put another way: what I'm playing / recording in Strike 2 is not being pulled into Mixcraft exactly as recorded. (in other words: maybe the inserted blank space is waiting for the completion of a bar or something like that?). Maybe there's a switch somewhere that forced the two to synch. The reason I'm posting here though is that I noticed last night that in some or the other previous release of Mixcraft there was an issue with Strike (older version) and Mixcraft not being in synch. I have tried every setting in Strike 2 that I can see but no change. and then a verse and then pull this recorded MIDI into Mixcraft: there is always a few empty bars inserted into the MIDI track between the end of the recorded intro. The problem is that when you record an intro. I've had Strike 2 for some time now and ever since I've had it there has been a problem pulling the recorded MIDI loops into Mixcraft (this being said: I do not think it's a Mixcraft problem and for all I know it could actually just be a user problem i.e. Does anybody else use something called Strike 2 by AIR? If so: maybe you can help.
